Master Class and Fundraiser Performance Opportunity
Ages 8-18

Are you ready to step into the spotlight and take your acting skills to the next level? North Bay Theatrics presents an exclusive Masterclass and Fundraiser Performance opportunity that promises to be a dream come true for aspiring actors and theater enthusiasts.

 

Masterclass Highlights: Join us for a unique masterclass led by the incredibly talented Kara Lindsay, known for her role in the Original Broadway Cast of Newsies. In this workshop, Kara will share her invaluable insights into the world of theater, with a focus on audition tips and confidence building. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting your acting journey, Kara will inspire you to bring your best to every audition and performance. And, of course, we'll leave ample time for a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask Kara and our guest artist all your burning questions about the theater world.

Guest Artist: Kara Lindsay

Kara Lindsay previously performed the role Glinda in the Broadway company and national tour of Wicked. She appeared in the original Broadway company of Newsies as Katherine; a performance which was captured for Disney & Fathom Events on the stage of the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. She also appeared in the Broadway company of Beautiful as Cynthia Weil and in the national tour and Guthrie Theatre productions of Little House on the Prairie as Laura. Regional credits include Paper Mill Playhouse (Newsies, Little House on the Prairie); North Carolina Theatre (title role in Mary Poppins); Kansas City Starlight (title role in Cinderella); Kansas City Rep (Sally Bowles in Cabaret); The 5th Avenue Theatre (Lone Star Love); and Geva Theatre Center (A Christmas Carol), among others.

Cost: $125 We would like to include as many participants as possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out if we can offer a scholarship.

Community Sing Along Opportunity for Friends and Family

Calling all music lovers, shower singers, and Broadway enthusiasts! Get ready to raise your voices and participate in something special with our Community Sing-Along Opportunity. Gather your friends and family for an unforgettable musical experience that will bring the magic of theater to your doorstep.

Join us for rehearsals at the picturesque Church of the Nativity in San Rafael, 333 Ellen Drive. Rehearsals will be held on the following dates:

  • Sunday, October 15th, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

  • Sunday, October 22nd, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

  • Sunday, November 5th, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

 

Dress Rehearsals at San Anselmo Playhouse:

We'll fine-tune our performance at the beautiful San Anselmo Playhouse on the following dates:

  • Thursday, November 16th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

  • Friday, November 17th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Fundraiser and Performance: November 18th 6:30pm

 

No Memorization Required:

Worried about memorizing lyrics? Don't be! This is a low-pressure, fun-filled sing-along event where very little memorization is required. We'll provide you with sheet music, making it easy for you to follow along and join in the fun.

As we come together to sing and harmonize, we also aim to raise funds for North Bay Theatrics, a local organization dedicated to promoting and nurturing the performing arts.
