Cast (Saturday Night / Sunday Matinee)

Megan Schoenbohm (Mary Poppins - she/her) Following a 23-year absence from the community theater stage, Megan makes her return in what she describes as her “dream role” of Mary Poppins. Her most recent role was Snoopy in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown in her hometown of Youngstown, Ohio. No stranger to the stage, however, Megan performs music professionally for audiences across the Bay Area and beyond, including last summer’s solo performance at Wolf Trap. A Berklee College of Music graduate, Megan is an award-winning multi- instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, with four children’s albums. She is a voting member of the Recording Academy.

Jenny Boynton (Bert - she/her) is excited to step in time in her first show in a little over a year.  As a native to Marin County Jenny has performed with many companies in the area including The Mountain Play Association, Stapleton Theater Company and Marin Musical Theatre Company. She received her AA in Drama and Dance from The College of Marin and her BA in Music from Dominican University. You can usually find Jenny directing with Marin Musical Theatre Company, bringing up new thespians with The YES Foundation, or out and about with the reason for her acting hiatus (her 1 year old son, Asher).

Katelyn Johnson (Winifred Banks) Returning to theater after a bit of a hiatus, Katelyn is excited for her first performance with NBT as Winifred in Mary Poppins. Sharing this experience with two of her children has been wonderful and she is filled with gratitude for this supportive, inspiring and incredibly talented theater community.

Simon Eves (George Banks) has been active in community theater in Marin for well over twenty years, although this is his first time on stage since 2016, normally being found behind the sound desk. Two of his favourite (with a "u") roles have been Neville in The Secret Garden and Alfie's sidekick, Harry, in My Fair Lady, so he obviously has a subconscious taste for the Edwardian, and has had a blast playing George. Turns out learning lines and dances in your 50's is hard, though, so thanks to Ashley for her tolerance! Love, as always, to Katie and Nathaniel, for their support.

Amelia Flandermeyer (Michael Banks) Amelia is having a great time in her first community theater production with her role as Michael.  When not singing and acting Amelia can be found on the pitching mound of a softball field, protecting the goal on the soccer pitch or traveling and hanging out with her parents and big sister!  She loves her role as Michael and is thrilled to perform alongside so many talented and kind humans!  Amelia is looking forward to graduating from 5th grade, turning 11 and beginning middle school in the fall!

Annabelle Green (Jane Banks) Annabelle is thrilled to be a part of this Mary Poppins production! She’s been doing musical theatre since age 5, and she loves it! Some of her favorite roles include Annie in “Annie," Jack in "Into the Woods," Flounder in "The Little Mermaid," and Michael in “Elf." When she’s not performing in musicals, Annabelle enjoys playing soccer, hanging out with friends, and playing with her dogs. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Deb Warren (Mrs. Brill) is thrilled to be working and playing with the fantastic cast and crew at NBT!  Past favorite roles include Baroness Schrader (The Sound of Music), Mrs. Paroo (The Music Man), Grace (Annie), Rose (Secret Garden), Kathleen (Ragtime), and Queen (Cinderella).  She is delighted to be a part of this collaborative group that appreciates the magic and "spoonful of sugar" in every moment.

Iris Klein (Robertson Ay) is excited to be playing the role of Robertson Ay. Prior to this show, Iris has appeared in Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Into the Woods, Music Man, Wizard of Oz, and Lion King.  She most recently played the role of Scuttle in North Bay Theatrics' production of Little Mermaid. When not acting, Iris enjoys swimming, playing tennis, and hanging out with friends.

Katie Wickes (Miss Andrew - she/her) is most excited to be a tap-dancing penguin with these silly, fabulous humans. Recent credits include RENT (dream role of Fur Vendor), The Rocky Horror Show (SFBATCC Award - Choreography), Legally Blonde (Theatre Bay Area Award Nominee - Choreography), Spring Awakening (SFBATCC Award Nominee - Choreography), and Pippin (other dream role of Pig #3) with MMTC, and Grease, Mamma Mia, and Beauty and the Beast with The Mountain Play Association. Evvy Carlstrom-March (Birdwoman - they/them) After three years teaching with the company, Evvy is thrilled to make their NBT stage debut! They are a performer, as well as a voice teacher striving to encourage young voices to be confident. They graduated from the BFA Music Theatre program at AMDA, and are thrilled to feed the birds with this cast of characters.  National tour credits: Musical Thrones a Parody of Ice and Fire, Penguin Goes to Flight School. John was most recently on stage as Sir Bedevere in Spamalot at Novato Theater Company and Brother Jeremiah in Something Rotten at 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa. John remembers fondly 10 years ago when he last performed at The Playhouse as Mr Bumble in Oliver with both his sons, Jack and Michael, in the cast. Times does fly, hope you all enjoy the show!

Amy Dietz (Mrs. Corry) When not underwater communing with the fishies or working for the County, Amy loves being on stage and floating under bubbles in an inflatable unicorn. Rrrrrrrautpolex! For Dad, always

Milo Schoenbohm (Nelius & Van Hustler - he/him) Mary Poppins marks Milo’s 4th show with North Bay Theatrics. His recent roles include the Genie in Aladdin, the Cheshire Cat and the Knave in Alice in Wonderland, and Spot Conlon, Hannah, Jacobi and Bill in Newsies. Milo enjoys writing and creating art in all forms. He looks forward to attending Marin School of the Arts in the fall.

Demitrij Montaño (Northbrook) is 11 years old and Mary Poppins is his second play.  In Annie, Jr.,  he enjoyed playing the antagonist, Rooster. Whether it’s a conniving trickster, or an honest, humble person, he feels like he can portray different personas successfully. Demitrij enjoy playing music and coming up with his own fictional characters. He's a big fan of Elvis and Charlie Chaplin and enjoys dressing like the times of yesteryear. Upon meeting and speaking with him, every adult mentions that he should look into being an actor or entertainer. Well, he's here!

Exy Schoenbohm (Danny Corey - he/him) Mary Poppins marks Exy’s 4th show with North Bay Theatrics. His recent roles include the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland, Prince Abdullah in Aladdin, and Theodore Roosevelt and Morris Delancy in Newsies. Exy enjoys doing parkour and making people laugh. He is excited to share the stage with his mom for the first time.

Daisy Farnsworth (Annie Corey) is 11 years old and has two brothers, Tom who is 7 and Gilbert who is 13.  Daisy also has two cats, so as you can imagine, her house can be pretty crazy at times. She plays basketball, softball, gymnastics, rock climbing, as well as theater, but theater is her favorite. Daisy has been doing theater with the amazing North Bay Theatrics since she was 8 years old.  With Ashley Kimball, she has done Beauty and the Beast, Music Man, Into the Woods, and of course Mary Poppins.

Laura Nethercutt (Miss Lark) Delighted to be playing Miss Lark with my precious Willoughby.  This show has heart, a bit of drama and the spirit of goodness.  Favorite previous roles include Yente (Fiddler) and Mae Peterson (Bye Bye Birdie), but the best part of sharing the stage are the people who return, year after year, show after show - to collaborate in creating joy.  Grateful for family and friends who circle back to the Playhouse with enthusiasm in supporting community theater.  I'm glad you're here!

Remy Gaunt (Wiloughby) Mary Poppins is Remy’s first production with NBT, well his first production in general - outside of the living room. He is thrilled to be bringing his antics and enthusiasm to the Willoughby and Ensemble roles. Outside of theater, Remy can be found traipsing through the woods of Marin County, fashioning Lego creations and enjoying the life of 5 enormously.

Elliott Gaunt (Special Delivery Messenger, Policeman) An accomplished jiu jitsu gray belt, Elliott is thrilled for his first foray into the world of theater arts with NBT’s Mary Poppins. His role as the policeman (Sat night / Sunday) and messenger are providing wonderful opportunities to share his enthusiasm with the population of Marin at large.  When not performing, Elliott enjoys playing baseball, whittling, bone collecting, drawing and illustration.

Beans Fitzpatrick (Ensemble - he/they) is fifteen and handler to Service Dog in Training, Scuba Diver. Beans also has cats, rats, tarantulas, a mouse, fish, and a second dog. Beans was diagnosed with several disabling conditions between 2019 & 2022, and until then did Rock climbing, theater, and horseback, as well as many other physical activities. The diagnosis shut down his life completely. This is Beans' first show since then, and he is excited to be doing it with his K9 by my side, and is so grateful for the accommodations and support North Bay Theatrics has given.

Scuba Diver (Ensemble) Hi, I’m Scuba Diver! I’m a 11-month-old golden retriever in training as a multipurpose service dog for my handler, Beans! I have yet to meet a person I don't like, and meeting everyone working on this show has been very fun, especially when we get to play (when I’m not working!) I even get to wear a costume. This is my first play, so wish me luck!

Steffi Townsend (Ensemble) is thrilled to join her talented son Thor (Michael Banks) in Mary Poppins! Past roles include Sandy (Grease), Little Red (Into the Woods) and Ursula (The Little Mermaid). She trained at USC, ACT, and the British American Dramatic Academy, and is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA. When she's not singing Disney songs, she can be found writing Disney books or playing with her family at the Disney parks - where she enjoys her spoonfuls of sugar in the form of churros and dole whips. She wishes to thank her son for the theatrical experience of a lifetime. Anything Can Happen if you Let It!
