CAMP: Monday, June 17th Friday through June 28th, 2024, from 9:00-3:00 PM in the Mountain Room at 216 E School St, Cotati, CA 94931

AUDITION: Monday, June 17th from 9:00-3:00 PM

REHEARSALS: 6/17/24 - 6/28/24 9:00-3:00 PM

PERFORMANCES: Saturday, June 29th at 11:00 AM & Sunday, June 30th at 11:00 AM at La Plaza Park, Cotati, CA 94931

This production is for people ages 8-18 years. Everyone who signs up for camp is guaranteed a role. Auditions will take place on the first day of camp to cast the show. In our for kids by kids approach, campers will bring to life their story through acting, singing, and dancing and the collaboration and creation of sets, props, and costuming. 

This camp will culminate in live performances to the community on 6/29 & 6/30 as part of the Summer in the Park Theatre Series in partnership with the City of Cotati.

Join Dorothy and her loyal companion Toto as they “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” through the Land of Oz, determined to reach the Emerald City, where the great and powerful Wizard of Oz will help them get home. Of course, along the way, Dorothy encounters witches (both good and bad), Munchkins, talking trees and winged monkeys. But most importantly, she befriends three unique characters: a Scarecrow with no brain, a Tin Man with no heart, and a Lion with no “nerve.” Their journey to happiness – and self-awareness – is a glowing testament to friendship, understanding and hope in a world filled with both beauty and ugliness.

Are your little ones ready to embark on a magical musical adventure down the yellow brick road? Children aged 5-7 will join Dorthy and her friends and experience the thrill of musical theatre. This program will culminate in the exhilarating experience of performing with NBT’s cast of The Wizard of Oz as part of the Summer in the Park Series.. Parents, family, and friends will have the chance to witness their young stars' incredible progress and talent as they take the stage with confidence and enthusiasm. This camp will culminate in live performances to the community on 6/29 & 6/30 as part of the Summer in the Park Theatre Series in partnership with the City of Cotati.

CADABRA

Join us as we create the ABBA-Cadabra Abba in the Park, inspired by the hit music of Mamma Mia! Step into the world of the ABBA Summer Camp, nestled in the aisles of Greece, where campers become part of a living adaptation of the story of Mamma Mia! Amidst the picturesque backdrop of olive trees and azure waters, participants learn the dance moves and harmonies of ABBA's greatest hits, immersing themselves in the 1970s atmosphere. The culmination is a grand performance in the park, complete with vibrant costumes, twinkling lights, and a panoramic view of the sea, as the aisles of Greece come alive with the timeless tale of love, laughter, and the enduring power of friendship set to the irresistible rhythms of ABBA's iconic tunes.
