The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character. With expanded characters, new songs, and more thrills, this new adaptation of the beloved story will open up “a whole new world” for your young performers!

Join us as we create the Greatest Show in the Park, inspired by the hit music of The Greatest Showman. The legend and ambitions of America’s original pop-culture impresario, P.T. Barnum, comes an inspirational rags-to-riches tale of a brash dreamer who rose from nothing to prove that anything you can envision is possible and that everyone, no matter how invisible, has a stupendous story worthy of a world-class spectacle.

This Summer, we are excited to have our first community theatre production of Shakespeare in the Park! Participants 13 and up will work together to recreate the adapted story of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Bottom calls together his ungainly crew of actors to produce a play for the visiting King Oberon and Queen Titania. The sprite Puck turns Bottom into a donkey and then, using a magic love potion, makes Titania fall in love with the creature, setting up a string of delightful misadventures.

Auditions will take place on the first day of camp to cast the show. In our community-by-community approach, actors will bring to life their story through acting, singing, and dancing and the collaboration and creation of sets, props, and costumes.

Be careful what you wish for, as Stephen Sondheim’s and James Lapine’s cockeyed fairytale comes to life in this adaptation of their groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical.  Into the Woods JR. features all of your favorite characters — Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch — in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables.

The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever.

Performs June 30 and July 1 at The Playhouse in San Anselmo
